Journal Flow with STL Journal Collective
Join us for an afternoon that blends movement and reflection. This beginner-friendly flow is designed to open the body and quiet the mind, paired with breathwork to help you settle in — no experience necessary. From there, we'll turn inward with guided journaling to explore creativity, with space to share and connect with others if you'd like.
Bring your journal and a pen — we'll take care of the rest.
What to expect:
A gentle, all-levels flow with breathwork
Solo journaling time guided by a creative prompt
Optional pair-and-share to close things out
About STL Journal Collective
STL Journal Collective was founded by Blackbird Yoga member Julie Zhang, who started it on a whim with an open invite that drew almost 100 people to a sub-25-degree gathering at Art Hill. Since then it's grown into a community 500+ strong, known for free monthly journal gatherings open to everyone, with no experience needed and no pressure to share.
Their whole ethos is built on radical acceptance, vulnerability, and the belief that community changes people — which makes them a natural fit for this collab.
Whether you're a longtime journaler, a curious beginner, or just craving a slower Sunday, this one's for you.
Space is limited — grab your spot before it fills up!
